사이트 아이콘을 제거하는 방법이 있을까요? CSS 트릭을 사용해서는 안 됩니다.
문제는 RSS 피드를 사용할 때, 예상대로 대표 이미지가 아니라 사이트 아이콘이 RSS 피드 섬네일로 가져와진다는 점입니다. 예시는 여기를 참고하세요. (어떤 이유인지 모르겠지만 이미지를 업로드할 수 없었습니다). 사이트 아이콘이 있는 것 자체는 상관없지만, 일부 피드 리더나 도구에서는 첫 번째 이미지를 가져와서 사용하는데, 이를 어떻게 우회할 수 있을지 모르겠습니다.

Discourse가 원박스(Onebox)의 파비콘을 대표 이미지로 설정하고 있는 건가요, 아니면 사용자의 RSS 리더가 그렇게 하고 있는 건가요?
XML을 확인해 보았지만 Discourse가 이렇게 하고 있는 것은 보이지 않습니다:

Is there a way to yank out the site icon? Not with css tricks.
The issue, when using RSS feeds, it's pulling in the site icon as the RSS feed thumbnail, instead of the featured image that you would expect. Example [here](https://ibb.co/7ptV8wN) *(I couldn’t upload an image for some reason)*. I don’t mind the site icon being there, but some feed readers, tools, are pulling the first image and using it. Not sure how to get around this.

아, 알겠습니다. 즉, 일부 RSS 리더가 찾은 이미지를 무조건 가져와서 "대표 이미지"로 사용하는 것이 문제라는 말씀이군요.
기본적으로 모든 RSS 요청마다 게시물을 파싱 → 필터링 → 직렬화해야 한다고 생각하지는 않지만, 가장 중요하게 생각하는 인스턴스를 소유하고 있다면 커스텀 플러그인을 통해 이를 수행할 수는 있습니다.

이렇게 하는 워드프레스 플러그인과 메일러라이트(Mailerlite)를 찾았습니다. 둘 다 첫 번째 이미지를 가져오는데, 불행히도 사이트 아이콘이 첫 번째 이미지입니다. 따라서 커스텀 플러그인이 유일한 방법인데, 이런 걸 하는 방법에 대한 문서가 있을까요? 제 생각엔 불가능할 것 같습니다!
