How to reset SSO from Hosted plan?

(Bgoldste) #1

Hi again, I’m on the hosted plan but would like to reset some of my settings so that I can play with the SSO. I’m not sure how to get into the launcher / cli stuff to do what’s described in the pinned topic.

If you need to reset it contact us, I went ahead and reset it.

I plan to add a magic route /admin/login that will allow you to log in (if you are an admin) regardless of sso state, getting it working right is a fair amount of work though.

To minimize your risk here, when doing sso testing always use 2 browsers with distinct users. You will remain logged in after you enable sso so you can always use that session to set SSO back to disabled.

Was that magic route added? I added a load of OAuth and a logo image to a new site, and now when I click “log in”, I get taken to the same page with a long ‘sso’ URL query parameter added.

Yeah the magic route is in @techAPJ added it

The magic route is /users/admin-login

Thanks! I managed to turn SSO off via the ruby shell as advised elsewhere in the forum, but I’ll make note of that magic route.
