# アカウント削除のユーザーリクエストを解決する方法

まさにその通りです。以前のソフトウェアでは、ユーザーを削除するとデータベースの安定性や会話の奇妙な欠落など、深刻な問題が発生していました（これは設計の拙いカスタムソフトウェアパッケージに起因します）。そのため、削除の要請はほぼ常に却下されていました。ただし、ユーザーがすべての活動に熱心ではなく、投稿数がわずかである場合、かつ丁寧な態度で正当な理由（安全性など）を示す場合は、柔軟に対応していました。

幸いなことに、アカウントを削除しても投稿は残るという前例が既に確立されているため、Discourse が提供する匿名化オプションは、非常に必要な変更と言えます。
