# How to set box style for sub categories?

I want to have boxes like subcategories as above,  
so I set the settings in the following,

1. `Admin->Basic Setup -> desktop category page style -> Boxes with subcategories `

Still the subcategories shows as lists.

Hi PrettyGirl,

This is a per-category setting.

Go to your parent category settings, in the settings tab, and look for “Show subcategory list above topics in this category.” 🙂

When checked, you can choose how the subcategory should be displayed:
