# How to set global CSS?

For example, I want to add these 3 lines disabling the overlay after sign up [Disable "Your first notification!" overlay on first login - #4 by dax](https://meta.discourse.org/t/disable-your-first-notification-overlay-on-first-login/116441/4)
What is the best way to do this for all themes?
Should I create a theme component? Or is there a simpler way to just add some CSS globally?

Creating a component and adding the component to all your themes is the best way.
If you’ve updated recently, we’ve added the ability to add a component to all themes in a single click from the theme component’s settings.
