# How to set set\_real\_ip\_from for discourse

I want to do something like this in discourse:

```plaintext
    set_real_ip_from 127.0.0.1;
    set_real_ip_from 1.2.3.4;
    real_ip_header X-Forwarded-For;
    real_ip_recursive on;

```

Normally I would do it in an nginx.conf file. However with discourse, I don’t know what to do. Can someone help me?
