لا تمنح النسخ المستضافة من discourse عادةً للمستخدمين وصول SSH، ولا يمكنهم تعديل ملفات yml. يتم التعامل مع كل ذلك من قبل المضيف الخاص بهم، ويتم تعيين المكونات الإضافية التي يمكنهم الوصول إليها كجزء من حزمة الاستضافة التي يدفعون مقابلها.
