# How to turn off info messages

Is there any way to turn off the blue information messages that are at the top of my Discourse screen? They are annoying. Here are the messages. Message 1 may never be turned off because we may never get to 50 users.
Message 1
To make launching your new site easier, you are in bootstrap mode. All new users will be granted trust level 1 and have daily email summary emails enabled. This will be automatically turned off when 50 users have joined.
Message 2
Let’s start the discussion. There are **6** posts. Visitors need more to read and reply to – we recommend at least **30** posts. Only staff can see this message.

Do a search for `show create topics notice` in Admin \> Settings
Just to clarify, those banners only show for staff – members don’t see them.
you can find the option to disable bootstrap mode in the Site settings: search for the bootstrap option with the filter box ‘bootstrap mode min users’ and set the value to 0 to disable it.
