# Firefox에서 Discourse에 YubiKey를 2FA로 사용하는 방법

2FA에 Yubikey를 추가하는 것이라 생각보다 간단한 작업이었는데, 계속 실패해서 새로운 것들이 너무 많아서 혼란스럽습니다.
- Yubikey를 어떻게 설정해야 하나요?
- OTP?
- Yubico OTP?
- Challenge Response?
- Static Password?
- OATH-HOTP? → Firefox에서 시도해 보았지만 `The attestation format is not supported by the server.`라는 오류가 발생했습니다.
- FIDO2?
- 어떤 브라우저를 사용해야 하나요?
- Firefox?
- Chrome?
- 다른 브라우저?

음, 아무것도 설정할 필요가 없어야 합니다. 다음을 시도해 보세요:
1. Yubikey를 USB 포트에 꽂습니다.
2. 사이트에서 `/my/preferences/second-factor`로 이동합니다.
3. 보안 키 추가 버튼을 선택합니다.
4. 원하시면 키에 이름을 부여하고 등록 버튼을 선택합니다.
5. Yubikey를 "터치"합니다.
Safari, Firefox, Chrome에서 작동해야 합니다. 호환되는 기기와 NFC가 지원되는 Yubikey를 보유하고 있다면 모바일에서도 작동해야 합니다.

Chrome와 OATH-HOTP에서 작동하도록 했습니다.
Firefox에서는 더 이상 시도하지 않았습니다.

음… 흥미롭네요.
어차피 예비 키가 필요하니까, Firefox에서도 다시 시도해 보겠습니다.

오늘 위에서 설명한 대로 FF 84.0.2를 사용하여 meta.discourse.org에서 2FA를 활성화하려고 시도했습니다. 동일한 오류 메시지가 나타났습니다.
Chrome 88.0.4324.96에서 동일한 작업을 시도해 보니 → 즉시 성공했습니다.
`The attestation format is not supported by the server.`로 검색하면 4개의 결과가 나오며, 모두 discourse 소스 코드와 관련이 있습니다. 아직 다른 사람이 이 문제를 겪은 적이 없는 것 같습니다… ☹
흥미로운 점: FF에서 개인 모드로 접속하면 2FA 로그인이 작동합니다.
수정:
다시 수십 번 시도해 보고, FF 추가 기능과 스크립트 차단기를 비활성화했으며, 위에서 설명한 대로 개인 모드 브라우징을 시도해 보니 FF에서 2FA가 작동합니다.
이상한 점은: FF 추가 기능과 스크립트 차단기를 다시 활성화해도 2FA가 여전히 작동한다는 것입니다.
어쨌든 작동하고 있으니 만족스럽고, 이 건은 종결 처리합니다 🙂
