HTML Customizations mistakenly applied to admin views?

AI-generated summary

A user, matt_mcneil, reported an issue where HTML customizations in the “Header” tab are being rendered in admin views after updating to 1.3.2beta2, but related CSS customizations are not, resulting in unstyled text and a broken admin view. elberet mentioned that customizations behavior in admin views was previously discussed and reverted to the old way, where customizations are applied when entering admin through the frontend but not when entering directly or refreshing the page. zogstrip confirmed this behavior is consistent with how it previously worked. Mittineague asked for clarification on whether the broken admin view is unusable or just unstyled.

Previous to 1.3.2beta2, all CSS and HTML Customizations were not shown when viewing admin pages. Now, after updating, on our site the HTML customizations in the “Header” tab are being rendered but the related CSS customizations are not, resulting in a bunch of unstyled text and a broken admin view. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

There was a bit of a discussion the other day regarding customizations in /admin and the disabling thereof, but I do believe that we’ve reverted back to the old way with full customizations when entering admin through the frontend and no customizations at all when entering admin directly (or refreshing the page):

That’s right. That’s how it used to work and how it’s working now

Do you you mean broken as in unusable or simply as in unstyled?
