If a category contains some rich text in its its description, the OG description tag of the corresponding page will contain HTML tags. A great example is the Bugs category itself: [Bug - Discourse Meta](https://meta.discourse.org/c/bug/1) ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/meta/original/4X/0/1/d/01d9665dc3d01eef32fe0f0205ed5d176402f621.jpeg) You can also see this in the [OG Tag Inspector](https://www.opengraph.xyz/url/https%3A%2F%2Fmeta.discourse.org%2Fc%2Fbug%2F1). # Expected behavior The meta tags`og:description` and `twitter:description` should only contain plaintext. Curiously the meta tag `description` already does. ---
