# I can't easily delete spammers due to my site configuration

Yes they do use particular phrases but they can easily get around this using unicode character sets (see: [Watched Words Improvement -- similar looking unicode characters](https://meta.discourse.org/t/watched-words-improvement-similar-looking-unicode-characters/124864)).

I’ve tweaked both of those settings already, the bottleneck is that it is taking a really long time to delete the user + posts.
