I can't find click links to open in new tab for unregistered users

is there an option to have visitors to open a new tab or window when a link is click on discourse?

I did a search on this meta & google to no avail.

only available on future releases?

Search for “new tab” in site settings.

found this

default other external links in new tab
Open external links in a new tab by default.

it is checked yet links didn’t open into a new tab (opens in same tab) for visitor/unregistered user mode - tested using google chrome incognito mode

The setting is per member. Visitors that are not registered are not members.

I think I actually reported this many moons ago, and I don’t remember what the decision was (whether this was a bug or a missing feature).

yes I understand for registered user there’s an option for it but for unregistered user/visitor it is not possible

@riking probably a missing basic feature - even on this website meta discourse when i didn’t sign-in and i click on a link it didn’t open on new tab,i have to manually do a right click
