# I don't see solved buttons

Hi 🙂

I don’t see solved buttons in any topics I created, is it right?

I know they exist because I use Discourse elsewhere, where they are (but not on all topics, however).

The solved plugin is enabled only in certain categories. You should be able to mark replies to your #Support topics as the solution, but this does not apply to your #Contribute > Feature topics.

For [Disabling emoji auto-complete (per user)](https://meta.discourse.org/t/disabling-emoji-auto-complete-per-user/300623), is it because it’s closed, or because the solved plugin is enabled when the topic is created and it is not changed when the topic is moved?

Once a topic is closed only staff can select a solution to a topic.
