# I don't want moderators to have access to email addresses of users

Hi there,

I’m planning to bring a moderator to help me with the forum. I don’t want her to have access to the user info such as email address. How can I do that?

Just promote them to TL4 instead of making them mod

You can promote her to Trust Level 4 instead of Mod.

Trust level 4 users can moderate the content on your site but have no access to users data such emails or IP addresses.

However, if you want restrict the access **ONLY** to the user email address, moderators can’t see this particular data, but they are still able to see the users IPs.
