# I keep getting confirmation mail

Hi guys,
today I installed my discourse board and tried to log in first time with email comfirmation, but that somehow didn´t work because of mail settings
Then I created the admin account over rake admin:create and finished the setup.
Afterwards I fixed the mail issue and started to use my installation.
But somehow since I fixed I keep getting these mails:
> Welcome to Your-Community!

> Click the following link to confirm and activate your new account:
> …
>
> If the above link is not clickable, try copying and pasting it into the address bar of your web browser.
When I click on the link he tells me:
> Sorry, this account confirmation link is no longer valid. Perhaps your account is already active?
Can I somehow stop this ?

This is usually due to force\_https not being set correctly.
If you try to confirm but change the scheme from http to https, does that fix it?
If so, long term you should ensure https is forced and http is redirected.

Could it be that all of those were queued before you got mail fixed?
