# 사이드바 수정하는 법이 궁금해요

사이드 메뉴에 추가 섹션을 만들고 싶습니다. 하지만 바닐라 JS로 구현하는 방식은 오류가 발생하기 쉽고 Discourse의 철학과도 맞지 않습니다.
[Developing Discourse Themes & Theme Components](https://meta.discourse.org/t/beginners-guide-to-developing-discourse-themes/93648) 를 세 번이나 읽었고, 모든 위젯, 플러그인 아울렛, 템플릿을 확인해 보았지만 사이드 메뉴 자체를 수정하는 것과 관련된 내용을 찾지 못했습니다. 사이드 메뉴에 새로운 섹션을 제대로 추가하는 방법에 대해 조언해 주실 수 있을까요? 정말 막막하고 답답합니다.
제가 사용한 방식은 다음과 같습니다. 이 해결책이 마음에 들지 않습니다.

또한 여기 어디에서도 `enable custom sidebar sections` 설정을 찾을 수 없습니다.

기본값으로 설정되어 있는 이유는 이것이 권장 사항이기 때문입니다. `stable`로 변경할 특별한 이유가 없다면, `test-passed`로 되돌리는 것을 권장합니다.

안타깝게도 이 기능을 사용하시려면 다음 Stable 릴리스를 기다려야 할 수 있습니다. Communiteq는 대부분의 사이트에서 Stable 버전을 사용하고 있기 때문입니다. 하지만 다음 Stable 버전이 곧 출시될 예정이므로, 기다리는 시간이 그리 길지 않을 것입니다. 🥳
그때까지 조금만 기다려 주시면 메뉴 커스터마이징이 훨씬 수월해질 것입니다. 🙂 🤞

Communiteq는 현재 @Olya_Fursova 님이 언급한 대로 `tests-passed` 브랜치에 호스팅할 수 있는 옵션도 제공하고 있습니다. 전환에 관심이 있으시다면 지원팀에 문의해 주세요.
안정판(stable)에서 tests-passed로 언제든 전환할 수 있지만, 다시 안정판으로 돌아가려면 다음 새로운 안정판 메이저 릴리스를 기다려야 한다는 점을 알아두시는 것이 중요합니다.
