# I want a video to show new users the features of Discourse

I think that has been discussed before. If I remember correctly, the reason why such a video doesn’t exist is that it is very difficult (if nit impossible) to make a generic one.

But why not use this topic to come up with something like a [treatment](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_treatment) for such a clip that people can use as a template to adopt for their forum?
