# 类别徽章使用图标而非颜色

which one do you prefer for the category badge of a topic, visible in topic list or topic page?

Depends… the icon will be an image? or just CSS (like awesome icon?)

Right now, the css class “`badge-wrapper bullet`” do the magic, the icon it’s only style, no icon, no image… just simple (_and beautiful_) 😃

You can do this today with CSS… as a feature for Discourse… no I don’t see us adding this to core when a theme component with settings probably does what you need.

thanks for the response.

alongside with requesting a feature, I was wondering if a discourse community prefer icons to simple colors or not, something like @SidV response or the votes.
