# Icons + texts?

So, #custom-header-links enables text links, #custom-header-icons enables icon links. Is there a way to have icon + text, just like the old Pavilion [Dropdown header](https://github.com/paviliondev/discourse-dropdown-header) did?

you probably need to create a new theme component by forking one of those two components. without looking at the codes, i don’t imagine it would be too difficult to add an icon field for each text link (or vice-versa) but it won’t really be feasible for mobile viewport given the header size constraints.
