# Ideas for more new user tips

It’s brilliant. We enabled it recently and it really helps a ton.  
On [Software AG Tech Community & Forums](https://tech.forums.softwareag.com/) we used a bit of css to add an image and make it more sweet:

Is there any way we can get involved and help to add more tips, i.e. submit pull requests. I can immediately think of several functionalities that can be added as most people would miss them.

Here are several I can think of 🙂

- That avatars on the topic lists are clickable and then you can click the user name/avatar again, which will show much more information
- The search button in the top navigation and the search filtering options

- User settings and preferences (they are a lot) (when logged in)
- Category/tag notifications button with the bulb (when logged in)

- Quoting functionality
- Mention functionality

Maybe here it could also say that clicking on the top date will jump to the first post, and clicking on the bottom date to the latest reply (I think few people know about this feature).
