Hello, I’m a member of a forum, and recently, about three weeks ago, all notifications except for likes and solutions ceased to send, system messages did not work, accounts would not activate, and so on. We made an announcement about the issue so here’s all of the problems we found so far. A mode…

[画像] Turtle: The @system , Discobot, and forum favicon and related logos are missing. This is probably because of the removal of forum images to clear up storage space and happened in late January. I’d also like to say that I’m apart of a forum Turtle is in, too. Moderators have fixed system…

[画像] Fersion: I’d also like to say that I’m apart of a forum Turtle is in, too. Moderators have fixed system and discobot’s profile picture, however, the forum favicon is missing, which, from the moderators, ‘were unable to make a change’. Sorry, forgot to remove that part. Yep forum images …

[画像] Forum updated, several bugs (sidekiq not running) Support Our forum updated 2 days ago to the “February 2025 stable” version (not sure how to find the exact version number). Our members have noticed several bugs: People aren’t getting notifications…

I’ve seen sidekiq get hung and it’s fixed by rebooting (restarting sidekiq, or easier, rebooting the container or even the vm). There was a recent topic that suggested there could be a fix, so am upgrade couldn’t hurt.

[画像] Thomas Kalka: Do I understand right: you are trying to fix a forum without a responsive administrator? We’re hoping for an easy and concise solution that can be emailed to their company, basically. They’re usually pretty busy but they confirmed that they’d work on fixing this. So anythin…

[画像] Turtle: pestoanchovi I looked that up, but there’s no user with that username. Edit: Oh. Thanks for the clarification, Fersion

[画像] Turtle: That user’s name is pestoanchovi now. Nope, they changed it to @distastefulanchovies.
