Lightbox Can I add a button for image rotation.

Yes you can. I think a theme component should suffice.

Rotate is something that could be very useful for iPhones cause when you use native resize it drops exif so we can not figure out orientation.

I do not think this would belong in the lightbox, it would belong in the preview next to 50%,75%,100% buttons.

Yes, that would be great if it happened (% 50,% 75,%100).  
can this be done in next updates

Not on our roadmap atm, but a theme component could possibly achieve this, I would recommend starting there.
