# Images sometimes don't keep their sizes

If you…

1. post an image, manually setting the size
2. edit the post and change the size

…sometimes, a few seconds after editing, your image reverts to the original size.

Editing image sizes manually in HTML is not supported. So this is by design at the moment.

If you want a differently sized image, resize the image in an image editor.
