# Importing from PHP Question2Answer

I am in the beginning stages of investigating the feasibility of migrating our current Q&A forum, which uses the Question2Answer library, to Discourse.

I reviewed the import discussions and the github ([discourse/script/import\_scripts at main · discourse/discourse · GitHub](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/tree/master/script/import_scripts)), but couldn’t find any previous discussion.

Please let me know if you have any advice on importing from Question2Answer or importing in general.

I see Q2A is PHP&MySQL based, so my only advice would be to look at similar popular migration scripts, such as [Migrate a phpBB3 forum to Discourse](https://meta.discourse.org/t/importing-from-phpbb3/30810) and [Migrate a vBulletin 4 forum to Discourse](https://meta.discourse.org/t/importing-from-vbulletin-4/54881)
