To import passwords you need the [Migrated password hashes support](https://meta.discourse.org/t/migrated-password-hashes-support/19512) plugin. This might solve your passsword problem.

It’s hard to say whether your avatar problem is because your data is not compatible or if you just didn’t configure the script correctly.
