# Improve automatic respond message when disagreeing with a flag

deferred: "Thanks for letting us know. We're looking into it."
```
Currently when we disagree or defer a flag, there is no distinction between either of the actions. I personally think disagreed should go something like this:
`disagreed: Thanks for letting us know. However, we did not find anything wrong with the post and will not take any actions"`

This was intentional. I don’t think it’s wise to tell people you don’t like their flag. Sort of like “hey you’re fat”. That may be, but saying it out loud to their face?

That would leave people in a state where they do not know the outcome of their flag.
I guess we could phrase our words such we don’t scream `"Hey you're wrong"` but `"We've taken the time to carefully review the flag but we concluded that it did not violate our community guidelines. We appreciate your efforts to let us know though!"`

It does say that already – “Thanks for letting us know.”
I strongly disagree that telling people you think their flag is wrong is a good idea. It absolutely isn’t.
