# Improve editiability and visibility of Chat channel descriptions

I just had the idea that it would be really nice to be able to click on the channel name on mobile and see a channel description

At the moment it's displayed on the 'browse channels' page (though I've only added one to the staff Moderation channel, so not visible to most)

I can't edit it now it's in though, so I'll make a note of that here

Ah, yes I think it's helpful when I'm looking to join the channel but also would help me remember to stay on topic while in the channel

Or a pinned topic could do it
