This is just my opinion, but I’d ignore the site setting. You are going out of your way to provide the excerpt, whereas the site setting is there for the system automating the excerpt. ---

I noticed that there was a **SiteSetting.post\_excerpt\_maxlength** setting. I was wondering what the **SiteSetting.post\_excerpt\_maxlength** setting did, and if the pinned topic excerpt length can be made into a setting? ---

J’ai découvert le message initial ici et je suis un peu déçu que l’option d’afficher uniquement le premier paragraphe dans l’extrait n’ait pas été implémentée. Est-il possible de le faire avec CCS ? J’aimerais afficher uniquement le premier paragraphe dans l’extrait des sujets épinglés. ---

Ou peut-être existe-t-il un moyen de dupliquer le premier message afin d’en avoir un avec l’extrait et un autre avec un message plus détaillé ? Je sais que la plupart des membres de l’équipe Discourse semblent très attachés à la chronologie des messages (même si déplacer des messages d’un autre sujet brise la chronologie). ---

Existe-t-il une solution de contournement à cela en dehors du “rebake” ? Il s’agit d’un sujet pour lequel j’ai besoin d’un extrait plus court. Je suppose que supprimer et republier après avoir baissé le réglage est la seule autre option ? Ou cela ne résoudra pas non plus le problème ?
