I have upgraded my forum and am now able to create and use the new Boards feature.
This is so great !
Just a thought for improvement (but of course more a “nice to consider” than a “must”): the /boards page has the following introduction sentence “Create and manage boards with columns.” which is really odd for a regular “viewer” that cannot actually create or manage boards.
Maybe best to leave this introduction sentence visible only to admins ? Or to allow the text to be changed ?
Moreover, I would also welcome the opportunity to rename “Boards” in the /boards page as well depending on everyone use case (e.g. some might want to call it “roadmap”, some might call “projects” etc.).
Further to my exploration below some additional feedbacks on the UX experience for regular viewers.
I added some cards to my board but not from an existing topic. However, while admins and groups allowed to modify/create can see the “frame” for edition and configuration settings, it appears that regular viewers also see the whole frames and configuration box although without ability to use any options (see below what a viewer sees when clicking on a card)
Wouldn’t it be more user friendly to leave the “editing frame” visible only to admins and for the others to only visually reflect the actual text/card description content from that frame?
