# Infinite 'is replying...' bug? / Presence plugin

In two of our threads someone is infinitely replying. I’ve already tried rebuilding and restarting via ./launcher. Won’t go away.

hmmm i have never seen this issue before. 🤔

maybe try toggling off the admin setting `Presence enabled` then reload to see if it goes away, then re-enable it to see if it comes back? (`admin-all site settings` search `presence`)

Has this person posted before? are they a regular user? could it be a bot stuck in a weird state?

This solved it ✅

it was occuring in four different threads, turning this off and on fixed it instantly. Thanks a lot.
