# Inline translation of posts into another language

The post below is in a topic that should probably be renamed, as it is about allowing users to choose their preferred UI language/locale.
This post is a suggestion about providing a “See translation” link for each topic. Would be _very_ appreciated in my communities. I seem to recall seeing this elsewhere but it does not currently seem to be available as a plugin, or is it?

Best thing I can think of is to use [Google Translate’s API](https://cloud.google.com/translate/docs). [But there is pricing involved.](https://cloud.google.com/translate/v2/pricing)

Ah, yes. Scary to think I have been involved with discourse long enough that there are conversations here that I have completely forgotten I contributed to. 😊
