# Inserir anúncio acima da categoria na página inicial

I think I must manually edit the template file to insert a block of code? the CTR is really low compare to my other wordpress site, the default adsense plugin isn’t that good. How can I insert a 300 ad block into my homepage? most likely left side, above the category section? Do I need to ‘restart’ discourse to see the effect?
