# Insert existing images into topic from the Editor

Hi,
I am using self-hosted Discourse instance for a community where I want to create several tutorials. I noticed that there are lot of common images that I am using across these tutorials. Is there any way for me to select the existing images in the New Topic Editor? Currently, I can do this by using the image url generated after uploading the image.
Just like the **Insert link** button allows me to search the existing topics, I am wondering if I can search existing images and insert.

Agree that it is “nice to have feature”. I was checking if there is a simpler way that is already present! (new user of Discourse 😃 )Anyways, I have changed the category of the topic. Thanks
