# Install Discourse on CloudPanel

To sum it up:

If you have basic IT knowledge, you can follow the [standard install](https://meta.discourse.org/t/142537?silent=true). You’ll also need a domain name, and configure an email sending service such as Mailgun (tutorial here: [Configure Mailgun for email when using Digital Ocean for DNS](https://meta.discourse.org/t/configure-mailgun-for-email-when-using-digital-ocean-for-dns/40590)).

Note that we usually won’t help on matters that are outside the scope of this forum. For example, the question “How do I register a domain name?” wouldn’t fit here.
