# Install docker discourse need RAM?, can use VPS 1GB RAM for docker discourse

Install docker discourse need RAM?, can use VPS 1GB RAM for docker discourse?

The memory requirements are explained in the install instructions. You’ll need swap space, but it should be created by Discourse-setup
