# Installing Plugins Under Docker / Portainer

Hello,
I’m somewhat new to using Docker and I’m using Portainer to manage my installs of containers. I installed “bitnami-docker-discourse” stack and discourse is working good. However I can understand how to install plugin buy reading the post on this site. (most is way above my head)
Any good beginners how-to’s for plugins I can read or how hooks work in docker-compos.yml files.
