# Integrating likes with reactions

Just an idea, in case you decided it is useful.
Likes and reactions serve really a very similar purpose, which is to show how people feel about something in a manner that won’t require typing a reply, to keep topics clean.
I wonder if reactions could be modified in a manner that would render likes unnecessary. For example people could be notified when someone reacts to a post, and that would render likes redundant.
