# Integration: Discourse comments in Gitbook

What would you like done?
I would like to embed comments in GitBook similar to what is possible in Ghost and elsewhere [using javascript](https://meta.discourse.org/t/embedding-discourse-comments-via-javascript/31963) - the idea being that the comments would embed per page in Gitbook. You may already know that Gitbook is no longer open source but they do have a [beta API](https://developer.gitbook.com). Naturally I accept the risk of the API’s beta status. If it helps, [there were some tries at this](https://meta.discourse.org/t/embedding-discourse-omments-with-gitbook/52001) in the ‘old days’.
When do you need it done?
April tbc
What is your budget, in $ USD that you can offer for this task?
I haven’t done this before. Let’s discuss.
