# Internal Server Error when creating new topic

I upgraded Discourse yesterday late in the evening. And notice now that when creating a new topic it shows a Internal Server Error. The editor stays, everything is saved as draft and the new topic is created anyway.

In the log I can see:

It seems related to the [Discourse Authorship](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-authorship-plugin/215171) plugin.

I would turn it off for now.

An update is required to make it work with the latest Discourse version.

Thank you, indeed that was the cause of the problem. I disabled the plugin for all my instances and I do not see this error anymore. Thanks again! 🙂
