# Introducing admin sidebar navigation

I still dislike this system, particularly on mobile where it is awkward.

In the old system you select Admin and then had a menu of sub items you could pick from immediately.

Now, when you hit Admin you just get to the Dashboard. And that’s it. No sub menu.

You currently have to (un-intuitively) click again to bring up the admin menu.

That has to happen so many times it is a costly bit of friction.

What about, on mobile, when you hit Admin bring up the Dashboard and _immediately_ pull out the side menu? If your aim (unusual) is just to arrive at the Dashboard then simply click that or click out?

The point is you are forcing three clicks (Admin → Menu → Submenu) for an action that used to only take two (Admin → Submenu)
