# Introducing: Comprehensive admin search

I wonder if search feels a little too buried here now that we’ve hidden the sidebar filter? this almost feels like a setting category for search rather than an (amazingly convenient) search feature…

Search UX is so often driven by “find the input” I wonder if we should fake it? Then we could pop the search modal and focus the input on click?

Maybe completely unnecessary… just my initial reaction on seeing the filter gone.
