Introducing image grids in posts

Great to have the grid component in core.
Having a button in the editor would be great for common users, wihout the need of other components.

I was using “Tiles Gallery Component” for that.

But now it has been deprecated, it is not compatible with the new fontsawsome icons.

I will delete the componente, but then posts that have used it would not display correctly.

It would be great to convert all posts using it to the grid version.

I have read here that a script can be run and then rebake the posts that use it.

But in our forum there are lots of posts rebaking all posts would take a lot of time.

Can anybody provide detailed instructions on how to run a script to convert posts using the old component and then rebake just that posts?

Thank you all

I would love to have some way to preserve the order of images as well. I often find myself uploading a sequence of images which lose a lot of context when they’re out of order. So I spend way too much time trying to manage the order…unsuccessfully most of the time.

I just noticed again that when viewing the images the order like in the post is not preserved - or simply another. So all images are mixed. How can it achieved to keep the images in the order when clicking onto the images and navigating through them.

Here’s an example, the first three images are from overwater (“Einstieg”) and the third is the crab, the forth the one with the scooter guy. So everything is mixed.
