# Invalid Certificate in Free Trial Site

Hello, I signed up today for a free trial of Discourse. The site that was built has an invalid certificate and I can’t view it. I assume this is a bug, how do I get past this? Thanks!

I don’t get a certificate error

Is the date and time on the device correct? I had a similar problem with a non-Discourse site recently, which was fixed after a restart of the device

Looks like it is being blocked by our IT department. It does load fine for me on other devices. Thanks for checking!

FYI, this is a typical error seen when companies have an MITM proxy in place for traffic interception and the device you are using does not trust the proxy’s root certificate.

Definitely a problem to be solved by local IT.
