# Invite to PM text refers to topics

As was pointed out [here](https://meta.discourse.org/t/create-a-private-topic-only-accessible-to-specified-users/142217/12), when inviting a user to a PM, the modal window’s text is “Enter the username of the person you’d like to invite to this _topic_” (emphasis added by me.)

The text for inviting a user to a PM should be “Enter the username of the person you’d like to invite to this message.” This would be consistent with the text that is displayed when a user is removed from a message.
