I am moving this to feature request @gingerbeardman ā¦ the amount of engineering we would need to support this is enormous, I can not see us building this support unless there is some trivial API provided by Apple for WKWebView. This is probably going to take many more years.

Sure thing.
Itās a shame this was not considered before the effort for 1.5.0, but Iām aware this ship has well and truly sailed!
But just so we donāt all forget: this was a really painful regression for me, I still sigh every day when I encounter things I had previously blocked.

This was certainly considered. The problem was that SFSafariViewController was extremely buggy and had tremendous amounts of issues. It simply did not work correctly for us.
