Quale infrastruttura deve essere costruita? Pensavo che fossero gestite direttamente dal server Discourse o da OneSignal (non ricordo quale).

Gestiamo le notifiche per i nostri clienti su un’infrastruttura dedicata che ospitiamo.
Le notifiche contengono dati che siamo autorizzati a gestire, poiché ospitiamo i clienti.

Modifica: vale probabilmente la pena notare che la discussione a cui ho collegato ha apparentemente risolto tutti quei problemi. Tuttavia, non l’ho mai fatto io stesso.

Si prega di considerare di offrirlo come servizio a pagamento.
Esistono casi d’uso in cui sono desiderate le notifiche, mentre la maggior parte del contenuto della discussione (ad eccezione dei dati nella notifica) dovrebbe rimanere sui server privati.

+1: usare il tuo hosting non è un’opzione, la nostra intranet basata su Discourse deve essere on-premise sui nostri server. Ma vorremmo “esternalizzare” le notifiche.

Mi chiedo cosa ne pensino i vostri responsabili della protezione dei dati / legali. O vogliono tenere tutto internamente, o non importa. Ma difficilmente vediamo entrambe le cose contemporaneamente.

La (presunta) mancanza di supporto per WKWebView implica solo che non funzionerà con Discourse **Hub**.
Ma se iOS ottiene il supporto per le notifiche push per le app web e i siti web, allora chi ha bisogno di un’app?

L’applicazione funge da comodo hub per tutte le community di Discourse che navighi attivamente.
Tuttavia, il supporto per le notifiche push per le app web cambierà le regole del gioco. 🥳

Giusto, tuttavia apprezzo la possibilità in DiscourseHub di passare rapidamente tra diversi siti Discourse… ma forse ciò potrebbe essere integrato facilmente in un sito web o anche all’interno di Discourse.
