# カテゴリ全体をアーカイブすることは可能でしょうか？トピックや投稿だけでなく、カテゴリごとです。

現在、カテゴリのアーカイブ機能は存在せず、トピック個別のみ可能です。

最も良い方法は、カテゴリの権限を変更して、スタッフのみが見られるようにすることです（カテゴリ編集モーダルの「セキュリティ」タブ）。これにより、一般ユーザーが見たり操作したりできなくなるため、事実上アーカイブされた状態になります。

別の方法として、「アーカイブ」というカテゴリを作成し、アーカイブしたいカテゴリをその親カテゴリに設定することもできます。ただし、この方法にはサブカテゴリに関する大きな問題があります。Discourse は現在、サブカテゴリを 1 段のみ許可しているため、アーカイブしたいカテゴリにサブカテゴリが存在する場合、それらを「アーカイブ」カテゴリへ移動させても階層構造を維持することができません。
