Is it possible to get onebox URL previews with the URLS included in the post?

Yes. At least if using the RSS plugin. It will show the post with a message at the bottom

Doing a search for example I found out you can make a YouTube channel into an RSS feed link

Notice at the bottom of the pic there is:

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JH8Iyx4B5Kk

I also have setup an RSS feed from another Discourse forum I manage to the one above. I changed in that case a site setting to import full post. Without setting to fully import there is a smaller preview with option for the reader to expand the import or use the companion link to visit the site.

The Companion discussion link populates for the other forum.

For a real onebox rather than the “companion discussion topic” footer link, the RSS Polling Onebox plugin makes each imported topic a onebox of the original article - title, image and description from the page itself - in whichever categories you choose. YouTube channel feeds get the player plus the video’s description.
