# Is it possible to hide topics in a category from the main list?

I have a comments category that all embedded comment topics are in. Can these be hidden from the main list? I don’t want them to clutter the forum and get bumped every time someone posts a comment.

Edit category settings, hide from homepage checkbox – check it.

Hi, I’m using Discourse 2.4.0.beta9 and this option does not exist in the Setting category area. How can I perform this steps now? Thanks

Suppress from latest is now gone in favor of muting, although there is an unofficial plugin which reinstates it:
